31. Did You Know: Ewan McGregor publicly displayed his unhappiness with the lightsaber scenes in Episode II: Attack of the Clones? McGregor, who plays Obi Wan, told British magazine Female First, “The fighting in 'Episode II' was unsatisfactory, I think. I don't think the fight was nearly as good as it should have been and I certainly didn't have as big a crack of the whip as the first one.” He then promised the fighting scenes in Episode III: Revenge of the Sith will make up for it. In the upcoming Revenge of the Sith, early word is Obi Wan will battle his apprentice, Anakin, over a pit of lava.

85. Did You Know: While he may not have been thrilled to be starring in Star Wars, Alec Guinness took his role quite seriously? Prior to filming his first scene, he thought his robe looked too clean to be living on the dusty planet of Tatooine. So, he lied down on the dirty ground, rolled around, got up and was ready to shoot, dirty robe and all.

Collectors of the vintage Star Wars action figure line may have fond memories of receiving the first mail-order exclusive available during the summer of 1978--a plain gray-based diorama with cardboard backdrop. StarWarsShop.com now brings you the same classic feel of those early dioramas but with a more interesting look. The first of six planned dioramas, this New Hope version features a sculpted base and reversible backdrop depicting images of the Jawa Sandcrawler or X-wings on the reverse. The classic Star Wars chrome logo gives this display a decidedly vintage feel, but works just as well with newer figures.
