Random Star Wars Facts:

15. What determines how strong the force is in a person? Answer: In Episode I: The Phantom Menace, Qui Gon explains the concept of midi-chlorians to his apprentice, Anakin. Midi-chlorians are essentially microorganisms, and the more a person has the stronger the force in that person. Those with higher concentrations of midi-chlorians are often able to learn how to control the force, granted they are trained by a Jedi Master. The force is not restricted to the “good side” as young Anakin will soon prove. There is both a good side and a dark side to the force.

62. Quick: Who are the creatures that attack Luke when he goes to visit Obi Wan, and what are their weapons called? Answer: Of course, the creatures were the Sand People. They used weapons called gaderffii also known as a gaffi stick. The gaderffii is double-edged, is much like an axe, and the weapons are created from scrap metal. There are many different types of gaffi sticks on Tatooine. The exact type of gaderffii a group has depends on their tribe.
