26. Fast Fact: Lando Calrissian wasn’t exactly introduced to Star Wars fans as a character to be trusted. He allowed Han and Leia to fall right into a trap Vader set for them in The Empire Strikes Back, claiming he had no choice. However, he soon redeemed himself by helping Leia free Han from the clutches of Jabba the Hut. A former smuggler, Lando was a class act, wearing stylish clothes and acting at the head of Cloud City which boasted millions of people. Lando became as good at his administrative responsibilities as he once was at smuggling. Did you know…Cloud City’s biggest source of income was from the gas mining operation called Tibanna?
51. Did You Know: George Lucas’ Stormtroopers weren’t the first Storm Troopers in history? Hitler’s Nazi henchmen were also known as the Storm Troopers. In fact, if you look carefully at the Imperial officers’ uniforms, you’ll see similarities to the Nazis’ uniforms. Lucas purposely created the officers this way in order to make them more frightening.
