Random Star Wars Facts:

1. Did You Know: There were originally supposed to be two species on the planet Endor in The Return of the Jedi? Everyone knows and loves the Ewoks. Originally, however, the Ewoks were supposed to inhabit Endor with the Yuzzums. Only one Yuzzum was actually produced—the cost of reproducing dozens of Yuzzums was just too high for Lucas’ budget. So, in the end, the sole Yuzzum ended up in Jabba’s Palace. Next time you watch Return of the Jedi, look for a big, brown fuzzy creature with horns. But, don’t be misled by his fuzzy appearance, he’s one of Jabba’s henchmen and a natural enemy to Captain Solo and Luke Skywalker. If he’s clutching a gun, then you’ve met Star Wars’ only Yuzzum!

89. Who is Grand Moff Tarkin? Answer: His name might not ring a bell right away, but Grand Moff Tarkin is the brains behind the Death Star. He’s also the one who, while Vader held Princess Leia back in Star Wars: A New Hope, approved blowing up Leia’s home planet of Alderaan to test the Death Star’s effectiveness. Despite his lofty goals to ensure the Dark Side took control over the galaxy, Grand Moff Tarkin was killed when the Death Star was blown up by Luke Skywalker.
