22. Did You Know: Kenny Baker, who played the affable R2D2, only took the role because the esteemed actor Alec Guinness was in the film? "I thought if Alec Guinness is in it, he knows more than I do about filming, that's for sure. It must be a decent film otherwise he wouldn't be in it,” Baker told the BBC in an interview about the late Guinness, shortly after his death in 2000. Baker appeared in all three of the original Star Wars films, and still reaps benefits from it today.
