24. Did You Know: Just as Hayden Christensen performed all of his own stunts in Attack of the Clones, Liam Neeson did most of his own stunts in The Phantom Menace? The only two stunts Neeson left to the pros were the dramatic lightsaber fights with Darth Maul. And one for the road: Neeson didn’t even read the script before accepting the role of Qui Gon Jinn. He just wanted to be in the movie.

91. Did You Know: The Phantom Menace was nominated for Hollywood’s most non-prestigious award The Razzies? In fact, Ahmet Best “won” the Razzie for Worst Supporting Actor for his role as Jar Jar. On the upside, The Phantom Menace was nominated for numerous technical Academy Awards, yet it failed to garner any Oscar statuettes.

Illustrated by Drew Struzan, who also designed the art for the Episode I and Episode II theatrical release posters and a host of classic trilogy art, this poster is one of three in a triptych. The 1-sheet is an original, double-sided poster that graced the walls and hung from ceilings of theaters across the country. The 1997 Special Edition--which started out as a special treat for Star Wars fans--ballooned into a major phenomenon as audiences worldwide thronged to theaters to see the original trilogy on the big screen again.
