42. Fast Fact: Fans were so hyped about the release of Episode II: Attack of the Clones, they begin lining up in Seattle in January—five months before the film’s release date! Fans in Los Angeles waited outside of Mann’s Chinese Theater for more than a month and a half, even though they didn’t know whether Episode II would even be shown there. The fans who camped out for weeks were often given free food by restaurants and were allowed to use bathrooms in local shops.

Matted "Anakin vs. Asajj" Limited Edition, Hand Painted Clone Wars Art

Be one of select few to own the first-ever, limited edition hand painted animation cel from the Cartoon Network micro-series, Star Wars: Clone Wars. The art features the climactic lightsaber duel seen in chapter 18 between Anakin Skywalker and Sith apprentice Asajj Ventress. Each beautifully hand painted cel is over a gicleé reproduction of the actual production background. Gicleé (zhee-clay) is a digital fine art printmaking process wherein millions of ink droplets stream onto canvas or high-quality stock paper. The scene is presented in wide screen format as a "pan," setting it apart in its unique collectibility. StarWarsShop.com is offering the first hand-numbered cels of the limited 250 sequence so the earlier you purchase the lower the number of your cel. From Acme Archives, every cel in the edition comes handsomely matted, with an engraved title plaque and an official Lucasfilm Certificate of Authenticity.
