Answer: Any Stars Wars fan knows Jar Jar Binks got a frosty reception from fans around the world, but alas he is featured in all three installments of the latest Star Wars. Jar Jar was supposed to bring a comic aspect to the trilogy, instead of being an annoyance, with his floppy ears, clumsy walk and the way he annoys Obi Wan. However, this fictional Gungan is seven feet tall, and his clumsiness resulted in being ostracized by his fellow Gungans in the Phantom Menace. Jar-Jar, a completely computerized character from the Planet Naboo, actually led to shouts of racism because of his Jamaicanesque accent and the clumsy way in which he acted. Nevertheless, Jar Jar has become and will remain a part of the latest trilogy.

In fact, in the fourth draft of Star Wars: A New Hope, the opening line read “A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away an incredible adventure took place.”
