34. Fast Fact: Episode III: The Revenge of the Sith doesn’t mean the end of the Star Wars saga. In fact, George Lucas is considering re-releasing all six of the films in 3D. That’s right! Lucas’ has said he’s already had portions of the first Stars Wars: A New Hope and Episode II: Attack of the Clones put into 3D. Lucas is hopeful the full transition of Star Wars: A New Hope will be ready for re-release in 2007, the 30th anniversary of the film’s original release. From then on, you can expect to see a new Star Wars film in 3D each consecutive year.
76. Did You Know: The Star Wars trilogy will come full circle with the release of Episode III: The Revenge of the Sith. That fact does not go unnoticed, considering Ewan McGregor’s Obi Wan will use the same lightsaber Alec Guinness’ Obi Wan used in the original Star Wars, released 28 years ago.
